Visitors with special requirements : a visitor using a walking aid should have no difficulty in accessing the rooms and garden. However, the property has not been specifically designed for wheelchair access although this is probably quite possible given some able-bodied assistance to cope with thresholds and the stairs..

Two good quality single folding beds are also available. The single beds can be erected in either of the double bedrooms (although this necessarily reduces the space available in those bedrooms) or on the ground floor where there is room to keep them made up should this be preferred although they would be better put away on a daily basis.

Stable End Cottage is set well back (60 ft) from the highway between Halesworth & Bungay and fronted by a fine brick wall courtyard. Although one isn’t conscious of it inside the property or in the garden, it’s fair to say that the immediate surroundings are town (albeit small country town) rather than country.
